The committee returned from its visit to Detroit and it was unanimous that this venue’s time has come. It’s a chance to relive old times where they really happened. We saw the Belle Isle and ambassador bridges, the Penobscot building, Belle Isle, and each brought memories. We thought about Midge’s, Hancock street, and The Union.
We searched for places to eat that you will remember. I suggested the Brass Rail and Willis Show Bar but got shot down. We tossed back a couple of cold Strohs and found the perfect spots for dinners, lunches and other activities. During the next 12 months we will leave a trail of photos, and hints about these locations and activities on this website. Each new posting will be accompanied by an email to you inviting your visit to the website.
